At this year's GAERO celebration, which traditionally focuses on the presentation of graduation certificates for graduates of the M.Sc. degree courses in Aerospace Engineering, Geodesy & Geoinformatics and GEOENGINE, PD Dr. Keßler was awarded the ORATIO Prize of the “Verein der Freunde der Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik der Universität Stuttgart e.V.” for outstanding achievements in teaching.
Mr. Keßler had been nominated by students of the FLURUS department and was unanimously approved by the Faculty Council. Among other things, the students emphasized the excellent combination of fundamental theory, practical examples and current research results. In this way, he managed to engage the students, motivate them and convey the relevance of the phenomena dealt with.
